Our beliefs and practices have evolved over the years based on our study, experiences and unique mission. We believe the teachings of our elders and our ancestors that the Creator God created the universe and all life, and has placed in each of us a part of the Divine Spirit.<\/p>\n<p>The primary source of inspiration and information from our Sacred African Way is the spiritual traditions of Ancient Kemet (which the Europeans call Egypt). Our Kemetic Ancestors were known by ancient scholars as the most spiritually profound and intellectually sound people of the ancient world. They creat\u00aded a theocracy &#8211; a civilization based on the\u00a0understanding that all life is sacred and that all human endeavors (large or small, public or private) must proceed from that foundation. It was a civiliza\u00adtion of great excellence and exceeding longevity whose great achievements were in the forefront of humanity&#8217;s struggle for civ\u00adilization.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Many of our contemporary scholars (i.e. Dr. Cheikh Anta Diop, Dr. Theophile J. Obenga,\u00a0 Dr. John Henrik Clarke, Dr. Yosef Ben-Joachannan, Dr. Asa Hilliard III, Dr. Maulana Karenga, Dr. Charles Finch, etc.)\u00a0have\u00a0advised\u00a0that the\u00a0most\u00a0liberating and empowering self-percep\u00adtion for African people requires that we study, understand and benefit from the profound knowledge of our ancient past. Ancient Kemet is the repository par excellence of that spiritual\u00ad-intellectual legacy.
